Statement of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Hungary regarding the heinous crime by the Israeli regime in bombing the Hospital in Gaza and killing of hundreds of innocent people
The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Hungary condemns, in the strongest terms, the heinous crime by the Israeli regime in bombing the Baptist hospital in Gaza. The crimes committed by the Israeli regimes, particularly against children, are inhumane and considered by independent observers as war crimes. It is of paramount importance that Israel be held accountable for its crimes against humanity.
Undoubtedly, the crime of attacking a hospital full of innocent, wounded and sick women and children, will be recorded as one of the most barbaric crimes ever committed against innocent civilians taking shelter in a place presumed to be safe under international law.
The Embassy calls on the international community to take immediate action to stop the crimes of the racist Israeli regime. It also reminds the UN Security Council, governments, and the International Criminal Court of their responsibility to prosecute the leaders of this regime for committing such crimes against the Palestinian people living under occupation.
The Embassy further emphasizes the legitimate and legal right of the tormented and oppressed people of Palestine to assert their right to self-determination and freedom from the oppression of the occupiers, reiterating the firm support of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the Palestinian people.
It is incumbent upon all Muslim nations and Islamic governments to seriously and practically support the oppressed people of Palestine, particularly those in the besieged Gaza Strip, and use all necessary means to end this endless oppression and killing of innocent Muslims.
